The Waffenträger: Projekt Hyperion Event Summary
- Battles take place in the 6v1 format on one of the following three lightly redesigned maps: Redshire, Siegfried Line, and Steppes.
- Before entering battle, you can choose one of the sides in the conflict.
- A Fair Experience: In this event, players will meet with equal peers in terms of skill to offer equal chances for everyone to complete the Progression and to protect new players from bad experiences.
- The Harrier Squad—as either a team of six random players or a Platoon of up to three players (Dynamic Platoons are allowed)—will rush into battle in the following extensively modified special vehicles: the Pojistka (TVP 50/51), Foudre (Bat.-Châtillon 25 t), Resistor (Object 140), and Thunderbolt (M48A5 Patton).
- Ermelinda will face them in the Blitzträger auf E 110, an incredibly powerful tank destroyer manned by a single player. It will be backed by AI-controlled guards called Sentinels.
- Hyperion is a new weapon of the Blitzträger auf E 110, and it is capable of destroying any tank in mere seconds. The only defense against it is to flee its area of impact. And you'll have only a few seconds to do so.
- Each team has its own objective: The Harrier Squad must disable the Blitzträger auf E 110’s protective energy shield and destroy this vehicle within the allotted time, and the Blitzträger auf E 110 must hold out until time expires.
- To enter battle in the Blitzträger auf E 110, you need to have a Key. You can earn it while playing the game mode or receive it as a bonus from special bundles in the Premium Shop. Keep reading to find out about one more way to get a Key for the Blitzträger auf E 110!
- Complete special combat missions in the event to get Stamps that will gradually fill the Progression meter. The event's Progression consists of 20 Stages. Upon reaching each Stage, you will receive rewards, including cool customization items, Waffenträger auf E 100 rentals with which to enter Random Battles, bonds, the Engineer's and Harriers' Starters, and more.
- Special combat missions keep your progress throughout the event, and you can get back to completing them during all event days.
- In addition to the rewards that you will receive for completing the Progression Stages, you can also get valuable loot through Gates. The most coveted prizes are Premium and reward vehicles, including the following three brand-new ones:
- KJPZ TIII Jäger, a Tier IX Premium German tank destroyer
- Jagdtiger Prototype, a Tier VIII Premium German assault tank destroyer
- The Object 283, a well-known and sleek reward Tier IX Soviet medium tank
- These—along with nine other Premium vehicles—can only be obtained from the Engineer's Gate with a certain drop rate. Plus, you can rent the legendary Waffenträger auf E 100 to fight in Random Battles!
- The Engineer's Starters are special in-game items you can earn during the event to activate the Engineer's Gate, which contains cool Premium and reward vehicles, as well as other valuable loot.
- There are also the Harriers' Starters for activating the Harriers' Gate, which has a chance of dropping useful in-game goodies, such as cool 2D styles and other customizations, plus Personal Reserves, days of WoT Premium Account, and more.

The Harriers
The Alliance is once again on the trail of the von Krieger family and has discovered the coordinates of their base, where the Harrier Squad was immediately sent. Only this time, the Alliance has added one more tank to their roster, which now lists four powerful vehicles. The new Harrier Squad has received new abilities, which will help cause splash damage and slowly regenerate HP.
The Harrier Squad consists of six battle Harriers who will have to take on the extremely powerful Blitzträger auf E 110. You will have the following four special vehicles to choose from in the event Garage:
- The Pojistka, a mid-range support vehicle
- The Resistor, a versatile multi-role tank
- The Thunderbolt, a slow tank with decent turret and frontal armor and a formidable gun
- The Foudre, a speedy tank with an autoloader that sacrifices armor and survivability for greater dynamics
Choose one of them and click the “Battle!” button to take on Ermelinda's incredibly powerful combat monster!

The Harriers can respawn an unlimited number of times in a single battle, but each subsequent respawn will take more and more time.
How to Play
The Blitzträger auf E 110, manned by Ermelinda, will be protected by an almost impenetrable energy shield, so it doesn't make much sense to shoot at it while this shield is active. Additionally, it is immune to fire and damage to modules and tracks. There are six Generators in a row on the battlefield, and each one can be overcharged right after you deal with the Sentinel bots protecting it.
When a Generator is overcharged, all Harriers on the battlefield will receive one Plasma charge. Collect one charge of Plasma with each overcharged Generator, up to a maximum of four. Each Plasma charge will cause +25% damage for all forms of damage (except ramming). With four Plasma charges, a bonus of up to +100% damage will be provided. Plasma is completely lost upon the destruction of the vehicle, so be careful.
Fight in packs of three or four vehicles and coordinate your efforts to overload Generators, which will disable Ermelinda's shield for a certain length of time. Once the Blitzträger auf E 110 is temporarily without its protective shield, you will have some time to cause full damage to it—and don't forget to use your unique Combat Abilities! After that, the shield will be restored, and you'll need to overload another Generator.
There are always three Generators present on the battlefield at a given time. Overcharged Generators disappear and respawn after one minute in a new position. After overloading and destroying the sixth and final Generator, the shield on Ermelinda's machine will be permanently disabled, so take this opportunity to finish the job. But if the timer runs out with the Blitzträger still operational, Ermelinda wins. Focus on overcharging the Generators to get closer to destroying the Blitzträger auf E 110.
Here's what happens when each Generator is overcharged:
- +1 minute of game time will be added to the game
- All Harriers on the battlefield will fully restore their HP
- All Harriers on the battlefield will receive one charge of Plasma
- The Blitzträger will overcharge, taking damage over a certain amount of time. The Blitzträger cannot be destroyed by this type of damage
- The Blitzträger's shield will be down for almost a minute, allowing the Harriers to deal full damage to Ermelinda
- All Blitzträger's abilities will be disabled for almost a minute
Always keep in mind that the Blitzträger auf E 110 can charge Hyperion to strike from any point of the map, and it can also teleport to a selected point on the map (with some delay). When the protective shield disappears, Teleportation and Hyperion become temporarily unavailable, and after the destruction of the sixth Generator, these abilities are locked.
The Harriers’ Missions
Completing the Harriers' missions will reward you with Stamps to fill the event Progression meter, as well as 2D customization items, Battle Pass Points, and Keys that allow you to play in the Blitzträger auf E 110. Some of these missions will also reward you with the Harriers' Starters to activate the Harriers' Gate. The mission will be available on September 22 at 05:00 ET (UTC-5) and will remain active until September 26 at 05:00 ET (UTC-5). You need to win five Random Battles in Tier IV–X vehicles and be among the top 5 on your team by XP earned.

There will be no compensation for unused Keys when the event ends on October 9 at 04:00 ET (UTC-5).

How to Play
This time, Ermelinda is more than ready to face the Harrier Squad. Her new deadly weapon, which strikes fear into the hearts of all who challenge it, will decimate everything in its path. Meet the Hyperion, the new ultimate superweapon of the Blitzträger auf E 110 that causes damage in a certain area after being fully charged. Here's what else you need to know:
- Hyperion needs to charge to 100% by dealing damage to the Harriers.
- After a location is confirmed, Hyperion needs 6 seconds to adjust its systems and fire.
- Four powerful bursts of energy are fired that will destroy everything in a 75m radius.
- The superweapon can be stopped during the adjusting phase by overcharging a generator before it fires.
- If Hyperion is stopped before it fires, the Blitzträger will keep its charge.
Although the Blitzträger auf E 110 is incredibly powerful and its shield reflects most of the damage it takes, it can still be destroyed, so you must be very attentive. Protect your Sentinels and don't let opponents overcharge and trap you with your shield down.
Make full use of your Combat Abilities, constantly move around the battlefield, and take advantage of the Teleportation ability. Be next to your Sentinels at the right moment, or teleport to the other end of the battlefield to buy time and save HP—choose the tactics that best suit the combat situation. Protect the Generators at all costs because if the Harriers overcharge six of them in a row, your shield will disappear permanently, and you will become vulnerable.
Time is on your side, so it's not necessary to destroy all the Harriers to win. If they fail to destroy you before the timer runs out, you triumph! However, do try to eliminate opponents—especially those who have Plasma charges or those who are far from their Squad. Remember: Each kill increases the time until the next respawn and removes Plasma charges from your enemies. What's more, causing damage also charges the Hyperion. If you are low on HP and there are only a few seconds left until the end of the battle, simply disappear from view.
The Engineer’s Missions
Completing the Engineer's mission will earn you Stamps, both the Engineer's and the Harriers' Starters, and 2D customization items.
- Only in the Waffenträger: Projekt Hyperion mode
- Can be completed twice during the event
- Only in the Blitzträger auf E 110 (or E 220)

Battle Time Mechanics
The initial battle time is six minutes, with each captured Generator increasing the battle time by one minute, up to a maximum of 12 minutes. Overtime can additionally increase the battle time by roughly 45 seconds and can be triggered once per Generator when the time runs out. When the Generator is captured or it is cleared of Harriers, the spare overtime will be removed. The game will continue or end as it normally would.
The Blitzträger auf E 220: A Rare-Yet-Coveted Opponent
The Blitzträger auf E 220 has the same stats as the E 110, but it features a unique camouflage pattern so you can easily identify it. This is a vehicle that only certain Wargaming employees and favorite content creators can unlock. You may encounter it on certain special days.
If you and your team manage to defeat the E 220, all members of your team will receive one Engineer's Starter. Check out the dedicated article for additional information about the big E 220 hunt, including a list of participating content creators and prime hunting times!
Rush Into Random Battles in the Iconic Waffenträger auf E 100!
Complete special missions in the event battles to earn Stamps that will gradually fill the Progression meter. The Progression system consists of 20 Stages, and you need 10 Stamps to complete each Progression Stage. On the progression screen, you will see how many Stamps you still have to earn to complete the Stage and grab the reward.
Reaching each new Stage awards you valuable in-game items, including the following:
- Two unique female crew members with exclusive voiceovers (upon completion of the 10th and 19th Progression Stages)
- Imposing event-themed customizations (an emblem, decals, inscriptions, and camos)
- The Engineer’s and Harriers’ Starters
- Bonds
- Days of WoT Premium Account
But most importantly, upon completion of the final 20th Stage, you will have the opportunity to rent the legendary Waffenträger auf E 100 for five Random Battles!
You will receive the very iconic and incredibly powerful Waffenträger auf E 100, a Tier X German tank destroyer that was removed from the game in 2016. If you have previously played in this formidable predator, your daily statistics for this vehicle will be recorded in all Random Battles. You can also obtain additional Waffenträger battles as loot from the Engineer's Gate with a certain drop rate.
Platoons with the Waffenträger auf E 100 are not allowed.
You will be able to play your battles in the rented Waffenträger auf E 100 even after the end of the event until October 15 at 00:00 ET (UTC-5). After that, however, this living legend will be removed from your account, and all unplayed battles will disappear with no compensation. The unique and trained crew for the Waffenträger auf E 100 is fixed and cannot be removed from the vehicle.
Additional Daily Missions
Three additional daily missions will be available to those who have completed all 20 Stages of the event's Progression. You can complete these missions playing both as the Engineer or as a part of the Harrier Squad, and they will reward you with a Harriers' Starter, Battle Pass Points, and a Key to play in the Blitzträger auf E 110.

But the most coveted rewards are the rare Tier VIII and IX Premium and reward vehicles, including new and very rare ones. Check them out:
- The KJPZ TIII Jäger, a Tier IX Premium German tank destroyer, is a nimble mobile sniper with great gun handling and accuracy. Similar in appearance and layout to the Waffenträger auf Pz. IV and the Grille 15, already in the game, this TD also shares similar characteristics to them. The Jäger can't boast any significant armor as it focuses on shooting and mobility.
- The Object 283 is a reward Tier IX rear-turreted Soviet medium tank with a high DPM. This tank has an unusual layout for a medium tank with rear turret placement. Despite its similarities to the branch of Soviet sniper medium tanks with the K-91 up top, its characteristics are closer to those of the Object 430. It has a strong front hull and turret armor, as well as impressive thick sides strengthened with screens
- The Jagdtiger Prototype, a Tier VIII Premium German assault TD, wields a powerful 128 mm gun. This modification of the Jagdtiger is equipped with the 12.8 cm Pak 44/1 L/55 gun. The general concept of the vehicle is the same as that of its more powerful version: unimpeded destruction of enemy vehicles with the help of its excellent gun.
Apart from these menacing hunters, you may receive a Premium vehicle—one that you do not have in your Garage yet—with a Garage slot from the following list with a 2% drop rate:
- IX T54 Heavy Tank : A tier IX American heavy tank. It`s fitted with “only” a 120 mm cannon, but it can easily hold its own against peers with larger calibers. The impressive 450 HP of alpha damage proves that size doesn’t matter, and a 240 mm penetration value will get the job done.
- VIII K-2 : Armed with a 122 mm cannon, the K-2 is geared for close-quarter combat. The tank's accuracy (0.42 m), 390 HP of alpha damage, and 6 degrees of gun depression are comparable to other same-tier Soviet heavies that thrive on exchanging blows.
- VIII CS-52 LIS : An outstanding versatile Tier VIII Polish Premium medium tank which features a 105mm gun with an even better shell penetration value along with a decent reload time to boot.
- VIII Object 274a : A Tier VIII Soviet medium tank. While the gun of this vehicle is not so accurate, the huge DPM and decent armor makes it a perfect choice for close combat.
- VIII M-IV-Y : A strong and reliable Tier VIII American heavy tank with solid armor and a 105 mm gun.
- VIII ShPTK-TVP 100 : A Tier VIII Czechoslovakian tank destroyer is a mobile sniper, able to quickly relocate where needed and destroy enemy vehicles with a fast-firing 100mm gun.
- VIII Strv 81 : A Tier VIII Swedish medium tank with a good turret armor and a precise gun with an excellent penetration and shell velocity.
- VIII ISU-152K : A Tier VIII Soviet tank destroyer featuring the highest penetrating gun with 750 HP of damage per shot among all tier VIII vehicles.
- VIII FV1066 Senlac : A Tier VIII British light tank with a decent sharpshooting gun and high DPM.
Finally, the Engineer's Gate has a chance of dropping 10 Random Battles in the legendary Waffenträger auf E 100*!
There will be a special guaranteed vehicle counter in the game client. Each time you get a Premium or reward tank, the counter is reset, and the countdown to the next vehicle drop starts over. After you receive all the vehicles, this counter will become unavailable.
The Engineer's Gate: How It Works
- When a vehicle drops from the Engineer’s Gate, a slot in the Garage is credited first, and then information about it will be displayed in the in-game notification center.
- If you receive a vehicle that is already in your Garage, it will be replaced by another vehicle from the above list that you don't already have in your Garage.
- If you already have all the vehicles from the list, you will be compensated the cost of the dropped tank in gold.
- If you have sold a Premium vehicle from the above list and it can be restored using the in-game Vehicle Restoration tool, it may drop from the Engineer's Gate at the standard drop rate.
Guaranteed Vehicle Mechanics
If you spent 49 Engineer's Starters but still did not receive a Premium vehicle, then with the 50th activation of the Engineer's Gate, you are guaranteed to receive a random Premium tank that you don't have already from the list above, as well as a Garage slot.
If you already have all the vehicles from the list in your Garage, then the guaranteed vehicle mechanics will be disabled.

The Reward Replacement Mechanic
The Waffenträger: Projekt Hyperion event features a reward replacement mechanic, meaning you can replace your current prize. Each reward replacement counts towards a guaranteed vehicle and gets you one step closer to getting a Premium tank.
The Harriers' Gate can be reactivated up to three times for credits.
- The first replacement costs 25,000 , the second 50,000 , and the third 100,000 .
The Engineer's Gate can be reactivated up to five times for gold.
- The first three replacements cost 250 each, and the rest are 500 each.
You cannot replace your reward if the Engineer's Gate drops a Premium vehicle or compensation in gold.
Exclusive Crew Members
Jana Folta and Hannelore Ritter are ready to join the ranks of your Commanders! Upon completion of certain event milestones, you'll be able to recruit these unique characters with exclusive voiceovers. They come 100% trained with Brother in Arms as a zero perk and enough XP to train three additional perks of your choice.
Neither crew member is affiliated with any nation, so you can assign them to any vehicle in your Garage. Initially, they can only be recruited as Commanders, but you can change their major qualifications using gold.
If you retrain them to any qualification other than Commander, their unique voiceovers will no longer be available. But if you retrain them as Commanders, their voiceovers will become available again.
The Medals
Defeat either the Blitzträger auf E 110 or the E 220 when fighting in the Harrier Squad to get the Fallen Gods medal. Defeat the Harrier Squad while losing three or fewer Generators to get the Song of Hyperion medal. There might be another one… But who can say?
Special Bundles
There are four special bundles available during the event. These bundles include bonus Keys that are required to play in the Blitzträger auf E 110. Plus, each bundle contains a set of exclusive event-themed decals to customize your vehicles with, as well as the Engineer's Starters as gifts to activate the Engineer's Gate.
What Will Happens to the Keys and Starters After the Event?
After the end of the event on October 9 at 05:00 ET (UTC-5), all unused Keys for playing in the Blitzträger auf E 110 will disappear, and the corresponding number of Gates will be activated automatically. All items from them will be automatically credited to your account. All event vehicles will be deducted, and all XP earned in them will be moved to the MS-1. All Collection Items, rewards, and loot from the Gates remain with you permanently. You will be able to play your battles in the rented Waffenträger auf E 100 until October 15 at 00:00 ET (UTC-2).
Known Issues
Expand- Players with low-spec CPUs and graphics cards may experience some stability and performance issues (including FPS drops) when running the mode. To avoid them and to play with maximum comfort, change the graphics settings in your game client in accordance with the capabilities of your CPU and graphics card. Players who may potentially encounter these issues will see an appropriate warning.
- In some cases, timers in the game mode might differ by up to one second due to synchronisation errors of UI elements. This involves the capture bar timer, shield timer, battle timer and overtime.
- When opening Gates you might encounter small delays until you receive some rewards.
- Sometimes, when running the mode at low resolutions of the game client, some interfaces and texts may display incorrectly.
- Missions in the Post-Battle screen do not always show the correct progress of the current battle. Please check missions in the progression screen to be sure about your current status.
- Completed missions might not trigger notifications. But we guarantee that you received any rewards from any mission you completed!
- Sometimes, when using the NVIDIA GPU, loading the game may get stuck. Please update your NVIDIA drivers to try and solve this issue.
- The rental Waffenträger auf E 100 has a fixed crew that cannot be modified. Adding more perks or retraining crews will have no effect and will result in an error message. This crew will be removed together with the rental. If you trained the crew for the rental Waffenträger auf E 100 in 2022, you cannot play battles with it until the current rental Waffenträger auf E 100 ends. The crew of the 2022 Rental Waffenträger auf E 100 will not be affected after the rental of the current Waffenträger auf E 100 ends.
- We recommend to run the mode without any mods to reduce the risk of any issues.
