Key Terms

Expand

Season: The three-month period during which Battle Pass is held. Rules and rewards may differ between Seasons.

Progression: A sequence of Chapters and Stages. A Battle Pass Season consists of three main Chapters, each made up of 50 Stages. In order to complete Stages, you will need to activate one of the Chapters and earn Battle Pass Points.

Chapter: An element of the Battle Pass Progression. For completing each main Chapter, you will earn two key rewards: a crew member and a Level IV progressive style. Battle Pass Chapters can be completed in any order. Moreover, you can pause your progress on your current Chapter and switch to another Chapter as many times as you would like.

Progression Stage: An element of the Battle Pass Progression. You can only progress through Stages after selecting a Chapter. All players will receive rewards for each completed Stage. However, with an Improved Pass, you can receive additional rewards for completing Stages. If you have an Improved Pass, you can purchase Stages using gold. These Stages will be considered completed.

Battle Pass Points: Points needed to progress through the Stages. You need to earn 50 Points in order to move to the next Stage of a main Chapter. The Points you earn cannot be lost. You can earn Points in Random Battles, Onslaught and Frontline. When you play in these modes, the number of Points you receive after each battle will depend on your rank in the team results by XP earned. In addition to fighting in battle modes, you can also earn Points by completing Daily Missions.

Point Limit: The maximum number of Points that can be earned in a particular vehicle in Random Battles.

Core Vehicles: Vehicles that have special rules for earning Battle Pass Points, including increased Point Limits. Core Vehicles change every Season.

Base Rewards: Rewards that anyone can receive for completing Stages.

Improved Rewards: Rewards that players with an Improved Pass can receive for completing Stages. Players with an Improved Pass will still receive Base Rewards in addition to their Improved Rewards.

Improved Pass: A special game pass that allows you to receive additional rewards for completing Stages. An Improved Pass can be purchased at any time during a Battle Pass Season. You can purchase an Improved Pass for a particular Chapter using gold, or you can use real money to purchase all three main Chapters at once. Using real money to purchase an Improved Pass for all three main Chapters can save you a lot compared to using gold to purchase an Improved Pass for each individual Chapter.

Token: A unique Battle Pass reward. Tokens can be exchanged for valuable items in a special section of the in-game Store.

Items for Points: Items that can be purchased for Battle Pass Points after finishing the three main Chapters.

Season Features

Take a look at the key features of Battle Pass Season XII:

  • Start of the Season: September 6.
  • Battle modes: You can earn Points in Random Battles (except for Grand Battles), Frontline, and Onslaught, as well as by completing Daily Missions.
  • Vehicle tiers: You can earn Battle Pass Points in Random Battles by fighting in Tier VI–X vehicles, including rental vehicles. However, you can complete Daily Missions in vehicles of any tier.
  • Progression: Battle Pass consists of three main Chapters. Each of these Chapters is made up of 50 Stages. You can complete the main Chapters in any order and switch between them at any time. You can only start completing Stages and receiving rewards after selecting a Chapter.
  • Improved Pass: In this Season, you can purchase an Improved Pass for a particular Chapter using gold, or you can purchase an Improved Pass for all three main Chapters using real money. Stages can only be purchased with an Improved Pass.
  • Items for Tokens: As was the case last Season, when you complete certain Stages, you will receive Tokens that can be exchanged for unique Tier IX vehicles. By the end of this Season, you should have enough Tokens to purchase one of the best of them. You can also check out other in-game assets in this special section of the in-game Store.
  • Most valuable rewards: Tier IX vehicles, progressive styles, Bounty and Experimental Equipment, and three new crew members with selectable nations and qualifications are up for grabs.
  • Items for Points: Special items that can be purchased for Battle Pass Points in the in-game Store. These items include rewards from previous Seasons as well as bundles with bonds. In 2023, you will be able to obtain rewards from Battle Pass Seasons VII and IX. You can view all available items in the in-game Store at any time during the Season. However, these items will only be available until the end of the current Season and can only be purchased once you have completed the three main Chapters.
  • Collections: Signature decorative items received in Battle Pass are located in a separate section for the ease of tracking. A new Collection is available in Season XII and is dedicated to the backstory of the Mirny-13 event. It will bring you a variety of themed rewards and customization elements. Gathering all of the collectibles will grant you special rewards, including up to three additional Tokens. Items from Season XI will remain unavailable for the time being.

Battle Pass Special: Snatch the Diamond

This Season also features one more special Chapter: Snatch the Diamond. The time-limited Chapter is only available from January 11 through January 25. It's activated by default when it becomes available, and all players can start it regardless of their progress in the main Chapters.

The main rewards of this special Chapter are the following:

  • The Nomad, a Tier VIII Premium tank along with a unique 3D style
  • Exclusive crew members
  • Notable customization elements, including 2D styles, decals, and inscriptions

The Progression of this special Chapter consists of 50 Stages, and you'll need 50 Points to complete each of them. The rules for obtaining Points in this Chapter are also the same.

Improved Pass

An Improved Pass allows you to purchase Stages and get more rewards in the special Chapter. You can purchase any number of Stages any number of times until the Chapter is completed.

Cost of an Improved Pass for the special Chapter: 3,500

Cost of one Stage of the special Chapter: 250

You can purchase an Improved Pass as well as Stages of the special Chapter only when it is available. When access to the Chapter is closed, the Improved Pass will become unavailable for purchase, as will the Stages.

Rewards

As with the main Chapters, you will receive rewards for completing each Stage of the special Chapter. If you have an Improved Pass, you also receive Improved Rewards in addition to Base Rewards.

After completing the final Stage, you will receive the main rewards of the Chapter: the Nomad and the "Big City Life" 3D style‎ (provided the Improved Pass for this Chapter has been purchased).

The Chapter itself will be active only from January 11 through January 25. The associated bundles will be available until the end of January 31.

Core Vehicles

Three vehicles received the special Core Vehicle status for Battle Pass Season XII.

Take a look at the key features of Core Vehicles:

  • Increased Point Limits: By using Core Vehicles, you can earn 300 more Points than you would with other vehicles of the same tier.
  • Special rules for obtaining Points: Core Vehicles will earn you more Points in Random Battles and Onslaught than other vehicles.

Season XII Core Vehicles

Progressive Styles

Progressive styles are 3D styles that come in several different levels. Each new level features additional customization elements.

In this Season, you can receive three progressive styles—one for each Core Vehicle. Once you select one of the main Chapters, you will receive a Level I progressive style. As you progress through the Stages, your style will be upgraded. Level IV is the maximum level, and it is awarded at the end of the Chapter.

Each progressive style can only be applied to its corresponding vehicle.

When a progressive style is selected, you can find it on the Exterior screen of the corresponding vehicle. If you do not have the necessary vehicle in your Garage, the style is stored in the Depot.

If you cannot upgrade your style to the maximum level during the Battle Pass Season, you will be able to purchase additional levels on the Exterior screen after the Season ends. Note that you cannot purchase a Level I progressive style. You will only be able to purchase missing levels if you already have Level I.

For example:

You select the "On a Knife-Edge" Chapter, receive the progressive style for the M-V-Y, and complete 25 Stages during the Battle Pass Season. This means you have received Level II of the progressive style for the M-V-Y after completing Stage 10, but you have not received Levels III and IV. You can purchase these levels.

However, you cannot purchase levels of the Object 140 or the Jagdpanzer E 100 progressive styles because you did not receive these styles during the Season.

  • Comedian (M-V-Y)
  • Swallow (Object 140)
  • Dunkel (Jagdpanzer E 100)

Progression System

Battle Pass consists of three main Chapters, each made up of 50 Stages. You will need to earn 50 Points in order to move from one Stage to the next.

You can also purchase Stages. This way, there is no need to earn Points. You can only purchase Stages with an Improved Pass.

Chapters and Stages

You can choose the order in which you would like to complete the Chapters. Moreover, you can pause your progress on your current Chapter and switch to another Chapter as many times as you would like. Your progress on a paused Chapter will not reset, meaning you can return to a Chapter and continue your progress from where you left off. To select a Chapter, click the Battle Pass icon in the Garage.

Battle Pass Chapters are divided into Stages. To advance to the next Stage, you must earn a specific number of Points. Once you complete a Stage, you cannot return to the previous one. All players will receive rewards for each completed Stage.

You can only complete Stages and earn rewards after selecting a Chapter. That is why it is best to activate a Chapter as soon as the Season starts.
Note that Chapters are not activated automatically. When you finish one of the Chapters, you will need to manually select another Chapter.

After selecting a Chapter, your current Stage will be displayed in the Garage.

If you do not select a Chapter at the start of the Season, your Battle Pass Points will accumulate on your account. Once you activate one of the Chapters, these Battle Pass Points will be credited to its Progression.

At the end of the Season, unspent Points will be removed without compensation.

Battle Pass Points

Battle Pass Points can be earned in the following ways:

  • In all types of Random Battles (except Grand Battles)
  • In Frontline and Onslaught
  • For completing Daily Missions

You can also receive additional Points by earning the maximum number of Points for your selected vehicle.

The Points you earn cannot be lost.

  • Random Battles
  • Frontline
  • Onslaught
  • Daily Missions

You can only receive Points by playing in Tier VI–X vehicles in Random Battles.

The number of Points you receive after each battle will depend on your rank in the team results by XP earned. Even if your team loses or draws, you will still receive Battle Pass Points.

In Frontline, you can earn more Points per battle than in other modes. The number of Points depends on your place in the team by XP as well as on the results of the battle.

Top 5 25 10
Top 20 10 5
In addition to Points based on battle results, you also receive 20 Battle Pass Points for reaching each new level of Frontline.
In Onslaught, Points are awarded based on the outcome of the battle. You can learn more in this guide.

6 1 2 1 1 0 1 0 0
7 1 1 1 1 0 0 0 0

Points can be obtained by completing Daily Missions. Note that you can complete Daily Missions in any vehicle tier.

The more difficult the mission, the more Points you earn.

Mission Points Earned
Tier I (easy) 10
Tier II (medium) 15
Tier III (hard) 20
Bonus Mission 25

For every 45 Daily Missions completed, you will receive an additional 50 Battle Pass Points.

Battle Pass Points continue to accumulate even after you have completed all Stages. Once you complete all of the main Chapters, you can spend your Points on special items.

Point Limit

Each vehicle has a Point Limit that can be reached while playing in Random Battles or Onslaught. The higher the vehicle tier, the higher the Point Limit.

Points received in Daily Missions and in Frontline do not affect the Point Limit, meaning you can earn Points in Daily Missions even after the Point Limit has been reached.

Once you reach the Point Limit on your selected vehicle, you will receive additional Points. How many additional Points you earn will depend on your vehicle's tier. Note that the number of additional Points that can be earned in Core Vehicles does not depend on the tier of that vehicle.

Vehicle Tier Point Limit Additional Points
VI 100 15
VII 250 20
VIII 400 25
IX 550 30
X 700 35
Core Vehicles 1,000 35

For example:

You can earn a maximum of 400 Points in the Tier VIII IS-3. Once you earn the maximum number of Points, you receive an additional 25 Points over the Point Limit for a grand total of 425 Points.

The Point Limit only applies to Points earned in Random Battles and in Onslaught.

You can also earn Points in Tier VI–X rental vehicles. If you rent a vehicle and then decide to buy it permanently, the Points earned with the vehicle during the rental period will be saved.

For example:

You are renting the Tier VIII 50TP prototyp, in which a maximum of 400 Points can be earned. During the rental period, you earn 100 Points in this tank. Later on, you decide to buy it permanently. After your purchase, you can earn another 300 Points with the 50TP prototyp before reaching the Point Limit and earning an additional 25 Points.

All of your vehicles are automatically displayed in the vehicle panel in your Garage. To see only the vehicles that can still be used to earn Points, click Filter by Parameters, and then select Battle Pass Vehicles.

In the vehicle panel, all vehicles that can be used for Battle Pass are marked with a special indicator that shows how many Points have already been earned by that particular vehicle as well as its Point Limit. Vehicles that have already reached their Point Limit will not be displayed when this filter is applied.

Improved Pass

Upon completing each Stage, you will receive valuable rewards. There are two types of rewards: Base Rewards and Improved Rewards. Only players with an Improved Pass can receive Improved Rewards.

You can purchase an Improved Pass for a particular Chapter using gold, or you can use real money to purchase all three main Chapters at once.

Improved Pass for All Main Chapters

The following two packs can be purchased with real money and feature an Improved Pass for all three main Chapters:

  • Battle Pass: Full Access: This pack features an Improved Pass for all three Chapters of Season XII.
  • Battle Pass: Daily Gold: This pack features an Improved Pass for all three Chapters of Season XII and allows you to earn 250 every day for 30 days. To get these funds, you must play at least one Random Battle each day. If you do not play a Random Battle on a certain day, you will not receive any gold for that day.

Bundles with an Improved Pass will not be available once you purchase an Improved Pass for one or several Chapters using gold.

Immediately after purchasing one of these packs, you will receive the Improved Rewards for all completed Stages. As you progress through subsequent Stages during the Season, you will receive both Base and Improved Rewards.

Battle Pass packs can be found in the Premium Shop under (Best).

Improved Pass for an Individual Chapter

At any time during the Season, you can use gold to purchase an Improved Pass for a particular Chapter.

Immediately after purchasing an Improved Pass for a Chapter, you will receive all of the Improved Rewards for the Stages of the Chapter that you have already completed.

For example:

You complete the "On a Knife-Edge" Chapter and start the "Flight of the Swallow" Chapter. You then decide to purchase an Improved Pass for the latter. Once you purchase it, you will instantly receive the Improved Rewards for all completed Stages of the "Flight of the Swallow" Chapter. Going forward, you will receive both Base and Improved Rewards for each completed Stage of this Chapter. To get the Improved Rewards for the "On a Knife-Edge" Chapter, you would need to purchase an Improved Pass for that Chapter, as well.

Follow these steps to purchase an Improved Pass for a Chapter:

  1. Click the Battle Pass icon in the Garage.
  2. On the Battle Pass screen, click Purchase Improved Pass.
  3. Select the Chapter for which you wish to purchase an Improved Pass.
  4. Click Purchase to confirm the purchase. The cost of an Improved Pass for one Chapter (2,500) will be charged to your account.

Purchasing Stages

After acquiring an Improved Pass, you will be able to purchase any number of Stages—but only within the Chapter covered by that Improved Pass.

You will immediately receive all Base and Improved Rewards for the purchased Stages, and those Stages will be considered completed. One Stage costs 250.

You can buy Stages on the Battle Pass screen. You can purchase as many Stages as necessary until the Chapter is complete.

For example:

You purchase an Improved Pass for the "On a Knife Edge" Chapter, complete 25 Stages, and buy 10. After that, you complete eight more Stages and purchase seven, thus finishing the Chapter. In total, you made two purchases totaling 17 Stages.

Battle Pass Items

You can find Battle Pass items in the Event Rewards section of the in-game Store. All items are divided into two categories: those that can be purchased for Tokens, and those that can be purchased for Points. You can only purchase items for Points after completing the main Chapters.

Items for Tokens

Completing certain Stages will earn you Tokens that can be exchanged for valuable items in the in-game Store.

You can earn up to 21 Tokens during the Season: 12 among the Base Rewards and nine among the Improved Rewards.

If you have earned enough tokens in the previous Battle Pass Season, you will be able to purchase the best vehicles in this Season: the IX BZ-58-2  for 24 tokens and the IX KPz 3 Projekt 07 HK  for 27 tokens.

Gathering a complete Collection of decorative items from this Season can grant you three more Tokens.

These Tokens can be exchanged for valuable in-game assets and unique Tier IX vehicles.

You can accumulate Tokens throughout all of the Battle Pass Seasons of 2023. Items for Tokens can be purchased until December 20, 2023. After this date, you will receive a compensation of 100 bonds for each unspent Token.

Items for Points

As you go through the Chapters and complete them, the Points you earn can be spent on special items, such as key rewards from previous Seasons or bundles with bonds. In 2023, you will be able to obtain rewards from Battle Pass Seasons VII and IX.

Once the Season starts, you will be able to view all of the available items. However, these items will only be available until the end of the Season and can only be purchased once you have completed all three main Chapters. In the next Season, you will have to complete all of the main Chapters again before purchasing items for Points.

Some of these items for Points include progressive styles. When purchasing one of these styles, you will automatically receive the Level IV version of the progressive style, which is the maximum level.

Please note: The rewards for the items you received in previous Seasons cannot be purchased for Battle Pass Points.

For example:

In Season V, if you received Level II of the Lancelot progressive style for the FV217 Badger, you cannot purchase the missing levels for Points in the in-game Store, but you can still buy them for gold on the Exterior screen.

At the end of the Season, unspent Points will be removed without compensation.

Rewards

You will receive valuable rewards for completing Stages. Each main Chapter features a crew member, a decal, new 2D and progressive styles, and even more resources than ever before.

For more information about the available rewards, see the Battle Pass section of the portal.

Collections

Signature decorative items received in Battle Pass are now featured in a separate section to make them easier to track. It will help you immerse yourself further into the atmosphere and lore of the event and serve as a memento of your combat achievements. And, of course, they will also bring you some additional rewards. You will be able to access the Collection from the Battle Pass screen.

Season XII is dedicated to the backstory of the Mirny-13 event. It will bring you a variety of themed rewards and customization elements. Complete the Collection, find out what triggered the events in Mirny-13, and uncover the mysterious Hope's secrets.

Obtaining certain Stage Rewards—both Base and Improved—furthers your Collection progress. These rewards include 2D styles, completed progressive styles, decals, crew members, and a medal.

As you advance through the Collection, you are awarded Elements, which are narrative rewards that give more depth to the story of Season XII. These include the following:

  • The personal belongings of each hero
  • Detailed descriptions of each progressive style
  • Dossiers on the heroes
  • Secret correspondences and photos

There are 13 Elements in the Season XII Collection. Reaching a certain number of Collection Elements will earn you the following additional rewards:

Thus, completing Season XII with an Improved Pass will get you three additional Tokens on top of the 21 Tokens from Progression rewards. This will allow you to purchase the best Tier IX reward vehicles, such as the IX BZ-58-2  and the IX KPz 3 Projekt 07 HK .

If you did not have enough time to obtain some Collection Elements from either the Base Rewards or the Improved Rewards, keep in mind they will come back later. So do not worry—you will be able to get them all in future Seasons.

However, please note that extra Tokens are only credited for gathering Collection Elements during their respective Season.

2D Styles

You will receive one of three 2D styles as a Base Reward for completing the first Stage of each main Chapter. Each is an all-season, non-historical style that can be applied to vehicles of any tier.

Crew Members

After completing the final Stage of each main Chapter, you will receive a crew member with the Brothers in Arms perk trained to 100%, as well as enough experience to train two more perks.

You can recruit your received crew members for an unlimited period of time in the Recruits section of your Barracks.

You can also choose the nation and qualification for each crew member. However, you cannot change their personal information, such as their name, surname, or image. These crew members do not have unique voiceovers.

Larry Stone
This American's formidable appearance hides a sharp mind and a subtle sense of humor. He is not afraid of anything or anybody—or at least so he thinks. For a long time, he fought under the command of McReed, with whom he initially struggled to find common ground due to his own sharp wit. Throughout his career, he successfully completed dozens of combat missions and developed a sense of discipline before becoming a competent commander. That said, he has not stopped making jokes, whether they land well or not.
Mariya Lastochkina
This young scout's deceptive appearance has proven fatal for many. She is a natural at collecting data on the enemy. Her specialty is radar reconnaissance, where she employs a systematic approach and analytical thinking to the maximum for decision-making. She is capable of taking risks to save her comrades.
Wotan Focht
A German tankman. He is equally at home as a combat vehicle commander and an inquisitive scientist. Since high school, he has been drawn to the natural sciences and has an excellent understanding of chemistry, biology, and physics. He constantly keeps a journal in which he records everything in the form of indecipherable notes and rather visual illustrations.

Decals

Decals are granted as Improved Rewards for completing Stage 30 of each main Chapter.

Choice of Rewards

After completing certain Stages, you will be able to choose which rewards you would like to receive. These rewards include national fragments, Crew Books, and equipment. You do not have to select a reward in order to proceed to the following Stages and Chapters. You can claim the rewards you receive at any time during the Season. To do this, click CLAIM REWARD on the Battle Pass screen.

If you do not claim your rewards by the end of the Season, you will receive the default rewards when you first log in to the game after the Season is over.

National Fragments and Crew Books

National fragments and Crew Books can be earned in all three main Chapters. You can receive Crew Books as both Base and Improved Rewards, but national fragments are only available as Improved Rewards.

You can choose the nation for both Crew Books and national fragments.

After completing certain Stages, you will be able to choose an item of equipment as a reward. You can receive not only standard equipment but also Bounty and Experimental Equipment during Battle Pass.

  • Standard Equipment
