How to Play

The Pz.Kpfw. IV was one the most mass-produced tanks of World War II and saw a lot of action in multiple operational theaters. It was the first version of this vehicle to carry the powerful 7.5 cm Kw.K. 40 L/43 gun, which often gave it an edge on the battlefield. The Pz.Kpfw. IV Ausf. F2 represented in-game has a camouflage with a yellow color scheme, typical for tanks that fought in North Africa.

  • Mobility

The 75 mm gun of the Pz.Kpfw. IV Ausf. F2 has the same characteristics as that of its researchable counterpart. Its main strengths are the decent penetration and fast reload, allowing the tank to fight against same-tier heavies. At the same time, the Pz.Kpfw. IV Ausf. F2 should avoid frontal encounters with higher-tier opponents and seek flanking possibilities instead.

The Pz.Kpfw. IV Ausf. F2 has more HP than its Tech Tree counterpart, which will help you survive longer in battle. The extra 10 m of base view range matches well with the primary role of this tank, which is fire support for your team's heavies. You can boost the view range with the correct perks and equipment.

The decreased mobility of the Pz.Kpfw. IV Ausf. F2 is the trade-off for its increased survivability. It has less engine power than the researchable tank, making it harder to get into positions and go uphill. This is also the main reason why it is not recommended to rely on active spotting while playing in this tank.
