Tiger-Maus

The name of the tank says it all. While its Tier X big brother is one of the most prized heavies in the game, the Tier IX hybrid little stepbrother has some unique aspects that give it a strong battlefield presence. With a good Platoon, sidescraping skills, and knowing how to hide its weak spots, this tank can cause mayhem.

  • Firepower
  • Survivability
  • Mobility
  • Equipment
  • Crew Perks

The Tiger-Maus's 128 mm cannon delivers reliable and consistent firepower with a formidable 530 HP of average damage. However, thanks to an almost 16 s reload time, it causes 2,052 HP of damage per minute, which is average for its class and tier.

Armor is the vehicle's main strength. With a 200/120/100 mm hull and 300/150/140 mm on the turret, the vehicle's angled armor offers extra protection as it's adept at bouncing shots. It's an excellent sidescraper, and it's capable of holding flanks on its own.

No one plays a German heavy for its speed, and the same is true for the Tiger-Maus, which tops out at 32 km/h. It's an easy target in open fields, and it struggles when climbing hills. Its mobility improves on flat surfaces, and the vehicle excels in urban environments—especially when supported by teammates. Once you pick a position, try to stick with it and relocate as little as possible.

Object 752

On the surface, the Object 752 might seem like battlefield fodder considering the Tier IX Soviet heavy's low damage per minute and accuracy. But these characteristics lend themselves to a particular playstyle that, when used in concert with its three-round autoloader, can quickly smash enemies.

  • Firepower
  • Survivability
  • Mobility
  • Equipment
  • Crew Perks

The 122 mm three-round autoloader and short-range burst fire are the key here. The in-clip reload can quickly deliver a considerable amount of punishment to unsuspecting enemies. Remember: It takes approximately 34 seconds to reload, so have an escape route or nearby cover while replenishing shells. Ambush tactics are paramount to maximizing damage inflicted on enemies.

The Object 752 has an effective balance of 195/140/80 mm hull armor and 330/150/120 mm turret armor. The low profile is also helpful to remain unspotted before surprising enemies.

The Object 752 can traverse rough terrain with relative ease thanks to good acceleration and handling. Stick with ambushing enemies, dealing small blows, and retreating quickly. The damage you inflict will pile up fast.

Type 63

The Type 63 is the first Tier VIII Premium Japanese heavy tank in the game. The most notable aspects are the cannon, with its ridged top, as well as the hydropneumatic suspension. But the tank has something of an identity crisis: It's classified as a heavy, but it lacks the hull armor for head-on engagements. Perhaps it would like to be a medium, but it lacks the speed and handling. In the end, it excels as a support vehicle.

  • Firepower
  • Survivability
  • Mobility
  • Equipment
  • Crew Perks

The Type 63 packs a 105 mm cannon with a unique mechanic: It cools down after each shot, and if you wait after firing, your next round will have increased accuracy—up to a mind-boggling dispersion of 0.28 m at 100 m! With good positioning that utilizes the 12 degrees of gun depression, the tank becomes an effective hill sniper, assisted by the hydropneumatic suspension (similar to Siege mode on Swedish medium tanks).

As is the case with snipers, remaining unspotted is crucial. The Type 63 has 80/55/40 mm hull armor and 175/120/50 mm of armor on the turret. Keeping out of sight and a good distance away from enemies is key.

With a top speed of 40 km/h, the Type 63 is hardly a speed demon, but it's still pretty nimble. Play in a support and sniping role, and relocate only when necessary.

XM66F

It looks like an ASTRON Rex 105 mm on steroids. The XM66F resembles an assault tank destroyer, but in actuality, it thrives in urban and hilly areas where it can cover its weak spots while delivering a high damage per minute. Although it has what looks like a fully oscillating turret, it has limited rotation.

  • Firepower
  • Survivability
  • Mobility
  • Equipment
  • Crew Perks

The 120 mm cannon dishes out 2,526 HP of damage per minute and 400 HP of average damage per shot, with 232 mm average penetration. Keep in mind the turret traverse is 30 degrees, so some targets may require moving the vehicle in order to get them in your sights.

The 95/50/40 mm hull armor leaves something to be desired, but the frontal turret is protected by 230 mm, making the XM66F a prime candidate for hull-down tactics. Keep the hull covered and use the 10 degrees of gun depression on elevated areas to strike foes from relative safety.

The 35 km/h top speed is a drawback, and with the limited turret traverse, this is not a vehicle for long, open spaces or solo excursions. Support your team, and don't stray too far from the pack!

GSOR 1010 FB

While it isn't a brand-new vehicle, the first Premium British wheeled tank in the game is a prized addition to any collection, and Holiday Ops is the perfect time to get acquainted with it. Consider it a primer for conquering the wheeled branch of the British Tech Tree!

  • Firepower
  • Survivability
  • Mobility
  • Equipment
  • Crew Perks

The GSOR 1010 FB brings the pain. With 360 HP of damage per shot, a quick aiming time of 2 seconds, and sweet 0.33 m dispersion, commanders can excel as sharpshooters. Precise gun handling is a big plus as it allows the vehicle to score accurate hits while on the move.

With the sweet speed and formidable firepower, this medium has to have a drawback, right? Indeed it does! The GSOR 1010 FB has weak overall armor, so avoid direct confrontations or trading shots, and use the frontal armor to prevent penetration from HE shells. Use the vehicle's mobility to outmaneuver enemies, and strike from advantageous positions.

The 60 km/h top speed and impressive power-to-weight ratio of 23.68 hp/t allow you to smoothly navigate various terrains. Use its maneuverability for expert evasion and tactical positioning, and take advantage of its ability to turn on the spot. Use these characteristics to strike and retreat before enemies can retaliate!
